Home-Sitting Services
For those of us who are fortunate enough to experience home ownership, it is often said that a home is the single largest investment many of us will ever make. Generally, we are able to make sure our home is safe and secure and all of the home systems are functioning properly. We are able to have peace of mind and sleep well because we know this to be true. However, what do you do when you leave your home unoccupied for periods of time and you have no friends or family to check on your home in person?
Unfortunately, many people just lock up and leave, hoping for the best. This is a decision that can have tragic consequences if the right set of events happen at the wrong time. Under most insurance policies, home owners are required to have a competent adult check on the inside of the home at least every 72 hours, depending on the policy, and in the winter even more frequently. If there is any damage to your home due to the plumbing, heating or air-conditioning systems, while it is left unoccupied, your insurance will not cover the damage.

Exterior
As part of our home-sitting package we do a walk-around your home, verifying all windows and doors are secure and haven’t been tampered with. We offer the home exterior security check as a stand alone service but it is included with all interior home sitting packages. Interior
As part of our home-sitting package we do a thorough walk-through of the interior of your home verifying that all plumbing, heating and cooling systems are functioning properly and your home is how you left it. After each scheduled visit we provide email or text communication informing you of our visit and any relevant information you may need to know. We also provide home and carpet cleaning services if needed, which are offered at a discount when purchased with a home-sitting package. Please contact us for more details.
Pets and Plants
For many of us we would love to take our pets with us when we go on vacation or business trips but that just isn’t realistic in many cases. Regal Home Services can take care of your pets, including the associated chores, as well as the watering of your plants as instructed by the home owner. Please contact us for more details.
